The delivery format. Our export produces clean, correctly paginated Courier pages; free import reads text-layer PDFs and reconstructs structure heuristically.
What it carries
- industry-standard presentation: fixed layout, Courier pages, ready to share and print
- explicit page breaks and page numbers
What it can't represent
- free import reads the text layer only — scanned PDFs need Pro OCR
- PDF is a final rendering, not an editable source: reclassification is best-effort
Where it came from
PDF became the standard script exchange for readings and productions because it renders identically everywhere — created by Adobe in 1993.
